Jaguar has retained the M&E contract at the St Botolph Building in London for a further three-year period, following a recent retender process for CBRE, on behalf of Deka Properties,

The building is located in the prestigious EC3 insurance district and provides over 500,000 sq ft of office space for City occupiers.

Danny McGarvey who was previously Site Manager for the building from 2018-2020 is the nominated Account Manager for the contract. He said: “Both CBRE and Deka share Jaguar’s values on sustainability. Together, we will be implementing strategies to reduce our impact on the environment. Jaguar is driving forward with energy management, innovation, and sustainable projects. We are all moving in the same direction to reduce energy consumption in an environment where a lot of energy is lost through inefficiency and lack of awareness.

“We are delighted to be working with CBRE and Deka and look forward to collaborating and finding ways to reduce our energy consumption.”

Creating a positive visitor experience in a Hybrid world of work

While some personnel are finally returning to the office – the great majority of organisations (up to 83 per cent) anticipate a hybrid mix of on-premises and working from home to continue for the foreseeable future.

This means that when it comes to providing access to the workplace, where once it was simply enough to maintain a welcoming reception for visitors, organisations today must also keep a close eye on access permissions in real-time to keep buildings safe and secure while ensuring they comply with compliance.

Pitney Bowes Smart Access Management in association with FMJ has produced a new White Paper which explains how to create a welcoming, actively managed environment for authorised people.

It explains how new Smart Access Management™ (SAM) delivers a complete, real-time and data-driven view of all your people, visitors and contractors, to help give you greater control and visibility.
