This year, 2022, marks the 75th anniversary of Zip Water, the global expert in water technology, design and innovation. As part of the celebrations, it has launched a fresh new logo and strapline — Water at its best.

Zip Water has been a pioneer in both technology and design since inception. Established in Australia in 1947, Zip Heaters — as it was originally known — was acquired by Michael Crouch AO in 1962 who, seeing its potential in the drinking water market, set about expanding operations, spearheading decades of product innovation. In 1991, 25 years after installing the world’s first instant on-wall water boiler, Zip Water entered the UK market.
Having already firmly established itself as a market leader with its flagship HydroTap drinking water system, in 2012 Zip Water introduced its integrated all-in-one boiling, chilled and sparkling instant drinking water tap to the UK market, further cementing the HydroTap as the world’s most advanced drinking water system. Just four years later, it added an extensive collection of tap finishes that only solidified Zip Water’s place as the premium brand in the industry.
In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic Zip Water responded quickly to develop a range of touch-free drinking water systems, including a contactless model of its flagship HydroTap — the HydroTap Touch Free Wave. Designed to reduce touch-points in the workplace, industrial settings and healthcare facilities, it offered peace of mind to countless individuals in what were very unsettling times. In August 2022, Zip Water launched UltraCare, its latest HydroTap range that offers users enhanced hygiene levels.
